ETNA by JEEP – Adventure Formula –

Craters, caves, eruptions of the past: Etna’s tourist areas of interest can also be quite distant from each other. If you do not have the athletic preparation for an excursion on foot or by bike, or if you simply have little time during your holiday in Sicily and prefer to visit several places within the same day excursion, the jeep is the most comfortable means of transport.

Etna Exclusive uses 8-seater Toyota Land Cruiser jeeps, combining reliability and comfort. An expert Etna guide will always be with you to escort you and will show you the geological and naturalistic attributes of the volcano.

Its slopes are composed of different climatic conditions, characterized by widely diverging thermal changes: microclimates that vary with the altitude and which influence the vegetation: from the Mediterranean, in the low range, it progresses at the top to that typical of northern Europe, with large birch forests, further giving way, among the black lava slopes, to the yellow broom. It’s a living botanical book, whose pages are turned as you climb to the top. For this reason we like to intervene in our tours between “Etna Nord” and “Etna Sud” with variants that can touch the “East” and “West” margin areas.

You can choose between half-day or full-day excursions, to discover the north or south side, with the jeep-sharing formula, shared with other guests, or an exclusive, off-road vehicle reserved only for you, and again, with the possibility of alternating driving routes with hiking.

Among stone villages, lava caves, ancient craters and honey or wine tastings, the experience of discovering Etna will only then be truly complete.
